etc. (abbr.) => et cetera 的縮寫
et cetera (N.) => and others especially of the same kind : and so forth(韋氏線上字典)，就是"其餘類推"或"...點點點"或"等等"的意思。
例：I gave away everything (dictionary, coat hanger and etc.) before leaving Newcastle. 離開新堡前我送掉了所有的東西，字典、衣架等等。

那麼，電子收費系統ETC使用率低好像也不是沒原因的吧？沒事取了"電子收費系統等等"的名字，擺明了讓道路駕駛塞在高速公路上等嘛！
